Introducing
In the Remains
70s-inspired hard rock from Sweden
Started by Mats Forslund, guitarist with over 30 years of live stage experience, backed up by Johan Chasseur, keyboardist and organ player with a legacy dating back to the hard rocking 80s, In the Remains released its debut album Thorn of Mind, April 19.
In addition, Jonathan Wilde, UK heavy metal lyricist, has contributed to three of the tracks on the album.
The aim of the song writing process was to unearth musical themes, riffs and ideas that could have been originated during the 70s and 80s, and then toss them through a time tunnel, into 2024. If you would get a feeling of
”Hey, what’s this – how could I’ve missed this record back in the days?’’,
then we’re more than pleased!
We hope you’re ready to find out what’s In the Remains, as we want to bring back the classic essence of melodic hard rock!
